Opposite Cafe

One of the first companies WasteValor engaged with was the Leeds based chain of coffee shops, Opposite Cafe. Sustainability is one of the core values at Opposite and the owner was keen to find opportunities to make better use of spent coffee grounds. The project involved desk-based research collating the available literature to find solutions ranging from short-term, easily implemented solutions with small returns to longer term options that require further research but that also had the potential to deliver bigger, longer term profits.
